Chronicles from a Catalan Dolphin

This blog is about the crazyness-turned-laughing about living in USA and surviving to it.
Hey, better laugh about than cry about, right?

I write from Ohio, where I am doing my Ph.D. at Kent State University. Tough science, rough parties and global roomates...

Who said science isn't magic?????

Look at this gel:

Believe me when I'll tell you it's running, ok? Look at the blue bands in the middle. Two wells in the middle seem to be stuck, while the rest are advancing normally...How come if the currents is going on and the gel is completely normal? Where's the trick? That's the point!!! There is no trick, its simply MAGIC!!! Now, imagine this happening when you run one of your critical samples where the size of your product is absolutely critical!! Are u getting what I am talking about???
If you need further proof, look at this image below too, its from the same gel: everything running but those middle lines are stopped like by an 'invisible force' its Magic!!!

Do you believe in ghosts????? I tell you I could see his hand stopping those bands!!
