hey, guess what? I've been exposed to a new type of modern phenomenon...It's called "The magazine subscription avalanche". It happens when you have 8000 miles and an airline allows you to exchange them for...as many magazines as you can get...free of charge! I couldn't believe it, so I called them but they confirmed it: no catch, no tricks. Straight. So now, I'll be getting Esquire magazine free during 2 years, Cat Fancy, Time, Newsweek, Inc, Cigar aficionado, the Economist, Atlantic monthly, US news and world report, Fortune, Financial Times, New York Magazine, the Week, etc etc etc...
