Hey All! Last friday (8/6/07) was a special day in my life. I was working as usual when our lab's phone rang: "there is a Tornado heading to us" . You know, in the tone of "Paris Hilton just got arrested again". Holly cow! A tornado!?? Everybody had to rush to the basement... The only problem was, I had come to the campus by car -fullfilling Murphy's law of course, that says when there is a tornado close to you, your car is always with you. Everybody was agitated, there was a feeling of frenziness swimming in the air...My first reaction was: "I don't believe it, this is bullshit" and then "If this is bullshit, I want to see how big it is!!!". Luckily the tornado missed us by some 4 miles, so my car didn't finish with a free parking lot in some roof
Lina thinks there is nothing like some arithmetic rehearsals while tornados are storming away: 2+2=4; 363-34=329, etc...
