Chronicles from a Catalan Dolphin

This blog is about the crazyness-turned-laughing about living in USA and surviving to it.
Hey, better laugh about than cry about, right?

I write from Ohio, where I am doing my Ph.D. at Kent State University. Tough science, rough parties and global roomates...

Hey hey hey! Because fighting Evil has to be fun otherwise is boring (hehehe ) I sent Paris Morgan this email:

Hi Paris, thank you so much for answering.  You know, you won't believe this, but I just won a scholarship to conduct a field research about HIV prevalence among teenagers (ages 15-21) in Nigeria funded by Project Agege of UNAIDS. The project will last about two weeks and my advisor already book me the flight. I will arrive on Wednesday May 9 at 5:35am Lagos times (British Airways flight number 315). I noticed you are still working in Nigeria and I wondered if you could please pick me up at that time at the airport.
Thank you

((Of course the flight details are real...))

And by the way, the roommates.com scam is a pretty famous one: it's polymorphic, Belinda Smart instead of Paris, born in US but grew up in Northern Irleand, etc... yeah, this proves mankind imagination is unlimited...
